Sales Manager | Director of Event Sales | Sales Coordinator | Account Manager | Vice President Of Sales

SALES MANAGER

Location: Avon office

Responsible for meeting or exceeding Company sales revenue and gross profit targets. Will solicit new prospects, qualify clients, develop relationships, communicate, develop program itineraries & budgets, as well as secure client contracts. Will also focus on developing and securing the preferred relationship with partner hotels. Will assist with writing creative proposals, proof reading, research, and costing. Once the event is booked, event is turned over to an Account Manager or Coordinator to be executed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3-5 years experience in the hospitality industry in the sales or conference services arena.
  • Knowledge of region destination and venues preferred.
  • Strong sales skills with the ability to listen and negotiate effectively.
  • Prior quota responsibility and ability to exceed sales goals.
  • Able to drive throughout Colorado to meet with clients, requires a satisfactory driving record.
  • Able to travel out of state for sales calls and Trade Shows.
  • Administrative, computer and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.

DIRECTOR OF EVENT SALES

Denver is becoming a Mecca for Worldwide Corporate Events. We are seeking an experienced individual to spearhead the Denver Division's growth. Responsible for establishing and meeting Denver sales revenue targets, devising budgets, participation in management meetings and providing key direction. Responsible for developing and strengthening Key Accounts and Hotel Relationships. Will set and maintain job guidelines, procedures and policies for the sales managers (2) and coordinators (2).

  • Qualifications: 5-10 years minimum progressively responsible Event Sales Management or Director Level experience.
  • Direct Sales & Quota Experience. Proposal & Client Presentation experience.
  • Supervisory experience managing a staff of 3 or more.
  • Strong MS Office Skills
  • Current Driver's License and satisfactory driving record

SALES COORDINATOR

We're looking for a self-motivated super star to provide sales and marketing support to our sales management team. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing creative proposals, presentations, direct mail/blast email campaigns and event coordination.

Qualifications: The selected candidate must have strong computer skills in Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, type 60-75 wpm minimum, proven grammar, spelling and creative writing skills as well as previous administrative experience working with tight deadlines. ACCOUNT MANAGER

Location: Colorado Springs office

Provides project management & client communication for high-end corporate groups. Ultimately responsible for the program development, planning, execution, client satisfaction, and program profitability.

Qualifications: 3-5 years minimum hospitality or event planning experience, organizational, creative and logistical skills, ability to work demanding schedule including evenings and weekends, ability to remain calm under pressure of deadlines, client and staff needs. Knowledge of budgets; project P/L, past accountability for revenue and profit. Capable of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to delegate tasks to support staff. Strong Word, Excel, Outlook and database skills.

VICE PRESIDENT OF SALES

Location: Denver

Destination Services of Colorado (DSC) is the largest DMC in Colorado with offices in Vail, Aspen, Denver and Colorado Springs. DMC services provided to incentive houses, and fortune 500 firms. Strong hotel alliances with Hyatt, Ritz and The Broadmoor. DSC is growing rapidly and seeks an aggressive sales leader.

Qualifications: Must have a minimum of 10 years in sales management. Experience with DMC's, hotels or CVB's a plus. Relocation costs are negotiable.
