ACCOUNT MANAGER:
Location: Colorado Springs
Do you have proven event planning experience with high end corporate groups? Do you enjoy working in a mach speed environment? Would you like to work in a fun, Colorado Springs location near the Broadmoor? We are seeking an experienced individual to plan and operate events throughout the region.
Responsible for:
- Developing creative proposals, proofreading, presentations, direct mail/blast email campaigns and event coordination.
- Provides project management & client communication for high-end corporate groups.
- Program development, planning, execution, client satisfaction, group billing and program profitability.
- Conducts site inspections, attends hotel meetings and industry networking in the area.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years minimum hospitality or event planning experience preferring expertise in the region.
- Organizational, creative and logistical skills, ability to work demanding schedule including evenings and weekends.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure of deadlines, client and staff needs.
- Knowledge of budgets; project P/L, past accountability for revenue and profit.
- Capable of effectively managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to delegate tasks to support staff. Strong Word, Excel, Outlook and database skills.
SALES COORDINATOR
Location(s): Colorado Springs & Vail
Do you love details? Are you creative? Are you an administrative superstar? Can you work in a mach speed environment? We are looking for a self motivated superstar to provide sales and marketing support to our sales management team.
Responsible for:
- Developing creative proposals, proofreading, presentations, direct mail/blast email campaigns and event coordination.
- Administrative support to the Director of Sales and Sales Team from initial point of sale through proposal and program development.
- Opening the office, answering phones, mail and fax retrieval and distribution.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1-3 years administrative experience preferably in the hospitality industry in the sales or conference services arena preferring expertise in the Colorado Spings or Vail Region.
- Must have strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook), type 50-60 wpm and ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Proven grammar, spelling and creative writing skills as well as previous experience working with tight administrative deadlines.
